What you send

Event submissions and messages are stored for the AFTERLITE team to review. They include your contact email, the details you enter, and any flyer you upload. Your contact email stays private and is used to follow up on your submission. It is not added to a mailing list.

What may be published

After review, event names, dates, venues, music details, organizer names, source links, and submitted flyers may appear on the radar. Unverified details are labeled. Sponsor inquiries and contact messages are not published as events.

Storage and spam prevention

The site uses hosting-provided database and file storage. A one-way code derived from your network address is stored to limit repeated submission attempts, including invalid requests. Attempt counters expire and are removed during routine cleanup; the submission database does not store your raw IP address. Hosting providers may process technical logs to operate and protect the service. Submitted material is retained for editorial review and record keeping unless removed by the team.

Cookies, sign-in, and links

AFTERLITE does not currently load advertising-network or analytics trackers. The hosting platform may use cookies for access and sign-in, including the protected review inbox. Original announcements, ticket pages, and sponsor links lead to other services with their own privacy practices. This notice will be updated before advertising-network tracking is activated.

Your radar area

When you choose “Save this area,” your selected region and city stay in this browser. They do not sync across devices. Shared radar links include the selected area and search filters. Opening a shared link does not replace your saved area. To change your preference, choose an area and save it again, or clear this site’s browser storage. The radar does not request your precise GPS location.

Artist discovery preferences

Saved artists and artists you mark “Already know” are stored in this browser, not in an AFTERLITE account. They do not sync across devices. You can remove them with the same controls or clear this site’s browser storage. Music and social links open external services with their own privacy practices.

Corrections or removal

Use the contact form to request a correction or deletion. Include the submission reference or event link so the team can locate the material. We do not sell submission contact details.
